UNIQUE NATURAL TREASURE IN EUROPE
LOS MONEGROS
Los Monegros is a truly exceptional ecosystem that stands out in all of Europe. With more than 5,400 species, this corner of nature surpasses any other place in biological richness.
The steppe surrounding Monegrillo, located in the south of the Monegros region, is a practically virgin area due to the scarcity of rainfall and the absence of artificial irrigation that alters the natural landscape. Dominated by junipers, rosemary and broom, this region breaks the monotony of its almost monochromatic landscape with these touches of vegetation.
Aridity, harshness and survival are the words that best describe this area, characteristics that are reflected in the majestic thousand-year-old juniper "Cascarosa", a living testimony of the constant struggle to remain standing.
HONEY FROM MONEGROS
ROSEMARY HONEY
In the beautiful steppe of Monegros, ROSEMARY is the star of early spring.
The advantage? The lack of rainfall in the region means that rosemary concentrates a large quantity of aromas and essences. This translates into an extraordinary honey, unique in Spain and as pure as few others.
A delight you can't miss!
