Whipped Honey Recipe
You have often asked us how to make whipped honey .
We recommend raw Rosemary or Alfalfa honey , even Sunflower .
It consists of beating the crystallized honey until the largest crystals break up and become smaller until they are imperceptible, creating a kind of cream, easy to spread and that does not drip. We tell you how to make it at home.
Ingredients:
- Raw honey
- Seed honey (purchased creamy honey or fine crystallized honey)
Need:
- Large bowl
- Hand blender
- Clean jar with lid
- Spatula
Instructions:
1. Prepare the honey: Gently warm the raw honey if it is too thick (no more than 30°C). Let it cool to room temperature.
2. Add the seed honey: Mix 10% seed honey with the raw honey. Stir well.
3. Whisk in the honey: Use a hand mixer to incorporate air and achieve a uniform texture. Whisk for 20-30 minutes.
4. Storage: Transfer the whipped honey to a clean jar. Seal and store in a cool place (13°C) for 1-2 weeks.
5. Enjoy: Your whipped honey is now ready to use. Perfect for spreading on bread or using in recipes!
