Original sauces with Raw Honey to add a different twist to your recipes

Salsas originales con Miel Cruda para sorprender con tus recetas

When cooking, especially when we want to make healthy dishes without refined sugars, raw honey is an exceptional and delicious ally, with which we can create incredible combinations.

We are sharing some sauces and dressings you can make with our Raw Honey, from our "no longer so secret" recipe book, to pair with many foods in our everyday life: salads, fish, meat, or even with toasted bread, preferably sourdough or whole grain or multi-grain bread (always choose good bread!).

ROSEMARY HONEY DRESSING WITH FIG JAM AND CHILI PEPPER

In a bowl, mix virgin olive oil, 1 teaspoon of Raw Rosemary Honey Jalea de Luz , 1 teaspoon of jam or fig jam (without added sugar, preferably), 1 tablespoon of red wine vinegar and a pinch of cayenne pepper or fresh chili (to taste, some people like it very spicy and others like it milder).

Adjust the quantities to your preference and depending on how you plan to use it. If it is a large salad, you will need to double the amount (be careful with the chili!), and if it is served with a portion of meat or vegetables, the amount will be less.

Also perfect with a goat cheese toast or some cured meat.

SAUCE WITH TOMATO, RAW STRAWBERRY TREES HONEY, OREGANO AND GARLIC

We will use a base of virgin olive oil again, adding 1 fresh crushed tomato, a pinch of salt, 1 teaspoon of Jalea de Luz Raw Arbutus Honey, with its slightly bitter touch, half a small clove of garlic, well crushed (or 1 clove if you like it strong), and fresh oregano.

YOGHOURT AND GARLIC SAUCE WITH LAVENDER HONEY

This time the base is 1 natural yogurt (normal, not skimmed), a pinch of salt, 1 teaspoon of Raw Lavender Honey Jalea de Luz, with its more floral and relaxing touch, half a small clove of garlic, well crushed, half a teaspoon of olive oil and a touch of apple cider vinegar.

A different and healthy accompaniment to red meat, for example, but also with a cheese and bread tapa (always good quality bread!).

Remember to adjust the quantities to your taste, as every palate has its own preferences when it comes to sauces. Tell us how you liked them and if you would like to share your recipe with us on social media, we would love to see your creations. Tag us with #jaleadeluzrecetas so we can easily find them!
